Torgon Ski Trip Switzerland

Swanshurst has the opportunity to join the Birmingham Schools Ski Course in 2017. We will be returning to the ski resort of ‘Torgon’ in Switzerland - in the extensive ‘Portes du Soleil’ ski area offering a wide range of pistes appealing to all ranges of ability.

The course is made up of between two and six schools from across the Authority and provides opportunities for structured ski lessons at a time when the slopes are less crowded and, therefore, much safer than the peak holiday periods. An overall Party Leader / Ski Course Leader will be appointed from the Birmingham Schools.

The cost of the course this year is £675 which covers coach travel to and from the resort, full board and meals in a hotel, 5 hours of ski lessons per day, hire of equipment (skis and boots), lift passes and all evening activities. In addition to this we provide the services of a nurse, exclusively for the Birmingham children.
